Review: Naked Palette 3

Good morning, there's finally some sun in London after a rainy few days. I don't know about you but good weather instantly puts me in a good mood. But so does this eyeshadow palette.
This palette brings me all sorts of joy. Not only does it have all the pretty shades of pink (my favourite colour) but it ranges from matte to shimmery. Whatever colour you choose to combine it with, I can guarantee that it'll pair together perfectly.
This is the Urban Decay Naked Palette 3.

Even though there's a Naked Palette 1 and 2, I specifically chose the third one due to the pink shades. I wanted to divert away from the everyday nude shades and try out something a little different. The colours aren't too bold nor soft but it's perfect to create a hint of colour in your everyday look.
If you want to have a bolder look the shades on the further right could provide you with the infamous smoky eye.
I have to say that this is a really good multi-purpose product. That's why I found it so easy to use, I may not be an expert in make-up but this palette was easy as it became that stepping stone towards experimenting with other colours.
My favourite combination is the shades strange (for the base), limit (on the crease), buzz (gradually build up this colour all over your crease), burnout and dust (all over your eyelid) and lastly dark heart (for the outer corners)
Chloe Morello on YouTube gives a really good tutorial of this look, watch it here.

The only negative thing that I would say is that the shimmery shades may create glitter fall outs (especially the shade 'dust') but I'm sure that's a common problem for all shimmery shades. Thus, you should either apply this product before your foundation or even place some tissue underneath your eyes when applying the shimmery shades.

You can purchase the Naked Palette  3 here. Do note that all Naked Palettes from 1-3 are all the same price. It's very easy to find this palette, it's normally in your local Debenhams, John Lewis or even directly on the Urban Decay website. This is definitely worth the money. I do believe, there is a new naked palette out there (yay!)

Yours truly,

  1. the naked 3 has to be my favorite one packaging wise. i love it.
