Little Red Riding (-Hood)

Canary Wharf has to be one of my favourite places in London purely because I'm always in awe at the tall skyscraper buildings. Also, as cheesy as this may sound, the first time my other half took me here was when I saw the ambition in him to work in one of these big companies amongst one of these buildings one day. That itself was enough to leave a positive connotation on my mind.
On a whim, we decided to go back and just stroll around and pick up something to eat later on.
It was so windy that day, at one point I felt as though I was on the brink of flying away... we managed to take a couple of pictures of my outfit that day. I was eager to show off my new shoes that I purchased in the ASOS sale.

I've always chosen this red coat whenever I felt that my outfit was too plain. This was purchased in New Look two years ago, it has lasted me a while. It's so warm and the thick woollen material makes it so soft and adds a unique element to it. Most importantly, it makes me stand out. The colour of the coat is as vibrant as the pictures show, so you'll definitely be seen from a mile away. This explains the title, excluding the hood.

These new heels were an absolute bargain, I got them for £10. I'd been lusting over these shoes for a while and it sat in my 'saved items' in my ASOS bag for ages. I do have to point out that these are painfully beautiful, so it does require a lot of patience and getting use to. But do you see how heeled shoes can instantly make your outfit look ten times classier? I'm fairly short so I love anything with a heel on it, especially when it's comfy. It's a shame I can't say the same (in terms of comfort) for these though!
In an attempt to style it casually I opted for some plain skinny jeans from Zara, I forgot just how comfortable these are. They're specifically made to stretch according to your size, hence it fits like a glove. The long-sleeved turtleneck is from H&M (so is the black belt), I love turtlenecks and it's a very popular trend at the moment. The main reason is that it is so comfortable and it goes with everything that I wear.
Watch out for a few Valentines day special posts, later going up this week!
Thanks for reading!
